With the release of Black Myth: Wukong coming soon, developer Game Science has released a benchmark tool so that PC owners can check if they can run it. The tool is free to download and players can customize the benchmark settings to preview game visuals and performance under different graphical options. I was blown away when I first played Shadows of Doubt last year. The detective sim realizes a city of characters, each with their own routines, jobs, and lives to live, and you’re dropped into the middle of the locale to solve crimes while you chase down a serial killer. As far as the genre of immersive sims goes, this one seemed to have a lot going for it even while it was in Steam Early Access, and now it’s finally coming to consoles alongside its 1.0 update.ColePowered Games’ indie will arrive on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on September 26 as a digital release, though a physical version will soon follow. Detective games are timeless in their appeal, but I’ve actually never played one that goes to the lengths seen in Shadows of Doubt.

Next year marks the 30th anniversary of Toy Story, the first fully CGI animated film that put Pixar on the map. And at D23, the next chapter of the franchise was officially unveiled. Toy Story 5 is coming to theaters in 2026, and Pixar veteran Andrew Stanton will be the director.Stanton has been with Pixar since the first Toy Story, and he co-wrote all four of the previous films. It’s been two years since Disney announced a new Marvel attraction at California Adventure’s Avengers Campus featuring King Thanos as the villain. Earlier this week at D23, Disney shared a look at the vehicle that guests will be riding across the multiverse in. Now, the name of the attraction has been revealed as well. It’s going to be called Avengers: Infinity Defense.The story behind the attraction is that Tony Stark has developed new portal technology that can take riders to different worlds. But Marvel made it up to fans at D23 when the studio premiered the first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again. The footage hasn’t been officially released online yet. But if these clips are any indication, fans of the first Daredevil series will be very happy.The common theme in the trailer is that Daredevil is kicking a lot of ass.
