Forza Horizon 5 Adding Hide-And-Seek Mode

As part of Gamescom, Microsoft announced a new multiplayer mode for Forza Horizon 5 called Hide & Seek, and it’s pretty much exactly what it sounds like.In this new mode, the Hider has to get to a location within a set amount of time, while the Seekers try to stop them. Each side has a pre-set list of stock vehicles to choose from. Additionally, the Hide & Seek mode has its own specific progression track that players can work through to earn badges and achievements, among other unlocks.The Hider can choose from these vehicles:

Path of Exile 2, the ARPG sequel from Grinding Gear Games, is finally ready to enter early access. As revealed during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live ceremony, Path of Exile 2 will launch November 15.The news comes after Grinding Gear Games announced earlier this year it was delaying Path of Exile 2’s closed beta, with the developer stating it “underestimated” the amount of time needed to polish the beta build before putting it in front of players. Starfield Adds Vehicles Tonight, Shattered Space DLC Launches In September

During Gamescom Opening Night Live, Bethesda showed off the Rev-8, a land vehicle players can use to travel around planets, along with a release date for its upcoming DLC, Shattered Space for Starfield.The studio decided to have a little fun with the trailer. Instead of showcasing it as an exploration game, most of the trailer played as if it were a racing sim like Forza. It showed the Rev-8 going through various planets and hitting sick drifts. However, on top of being able to transport players around, it appears it can also be used for combat. Players will be able to take the Rev-8 for free later tonight when it drops.

H2M Creator Says CoD: MW2 Mod Was Shut Down Over Black Ops 6 Sales Fears

Earlier this month, Activision put the kibosh on an ambitious mod known as H2M: a fan-created attempt to bring classic Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer to Modern Warfare Remastered. Now, a member of the mod team that goes by the handle “Watchful Wolf” says that the gaming giant put out the cease-and-desist order due to concerns that H2M would hurt Black Ops 6 sales.Fans immediately took to forums like the Call of Duty subreddit to express their displeasure with the move, with many of them noting that the C&D came the day before H2M was scheduled to release. In a video posted to YouTube, Watchful Wolf stated that the order from Activision came just hours before the mod’s release, and that the team immediately “dropped everything,” taking their website and all servers down.
